We’ve got a date for Texas VegFest 2019…
plus a few other events brought to you by the Texas VegFest organizer, Texas Veg Foundation!
We’ve also been quietly working on some brand new and exciting projects as we get set for Texas VegFest 2019, and are finally ready to share them! Texas VegFest is organized by Texas Veg Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to show the health, environmental, and animal welfare benefits of plant-based diets. To help strengthen our mission, we’ve expanded and added two more events along-side Texas VegFest; our seasonal Fund-raising and Volunteer Network Events!
Our first ever fundraiser will take place Thursday November 8th, at 6pm at the Sustainable Food Center. We’ll be hosting a film screening and have food, music, and prizes. To keep updated with all of the news and Spring 2019 fundraiser, head to our website here: www.txveg.org/fundraiser-events.
To help network more with our volunteers from the past 8 years of VegFest, we are now hosting Volunteer Network Events where we have a volunteer work day at an animal sanctuary and community garden, alternating each month. The first Volunteer Network Event is Saturday October 13th at 8am at Festival Beach Community Garden. To sign up to participate or to get more details, head to our website: www.txveg.org/volunteer-network-events.
There’s so much fun planned in the next coming months, we’re going to need all the help we can get to make sure our new projects are a success for the community. Like, share, heart, and spread the word. We’re feeling motivated and can’t wait to share the results with YOU!
