Isa Chandra Moskowitz is a Brooklyn native who began her vegan cooking journey over twenty years ago at the age of sixteen. She’s inspired by New York City’s cuisine from all over the world, as well as her own Jewish heritage, and she loves to fuse the two. She is the creator of the Post Punk Kitchen and the author of Appetite for Reduction. She is also the co-author of several award-winning and best-selling vegan cookbooks, including Veganomicon, Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, and Vegan Pie In The Sky. She’s been featured in major media outlets, including The New York Times, CNN, and NPR’s Weekend Edition. She also writes the Bust food column titled “Nickel & Dined.”

|Terry Hope Romero
Terry Hope Romero is author of Viva Vegan! and co-author of bestselling vegan cookbooks Veganomicon, Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar, and Vegan Pie in the Sky. Terry has presented cooking demonstration and talks to hungry crowds at food festivals and conferences the world over: Paris, New York City, Boston, Toronto, and many more. Terry also contributes to VegNews Magazine with her Hot Urban Eats column. She also holds a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University. She and Isa hosted the public access vegan cooking show The Post Punk Kitchen and were featured in the New York Times and National Public Radio, and Martha Stewart Living Sirius XM Radio. Terry writes, cooks, and eats in New York City.

Robert Cheeke grew up on a farm in Corvallis, OR, where he adopted a vegan lifestyle in 1995 at age 15. Today he is a best-selling author of the book Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness - The Complete Guide to Building Your Body on a Plant-Based Diet.
As a two-time natural bodybuilding champion, Robert has been considered one of VegNews Magazine’s“Most Influential Vegan Athletes”. He tours all over North America regularly giving talks about his story transforming from a skinny farm kid to champion vegan bodybuilder.
Currently Robert works full-time for Vega, a line of vegan whole-food products, as a representative of the new pro-vegan film Forks Over Knives and also works full-time running VeganBodyBuilding.com (which includes writing books, touring and maintaining the popular website).
Robert recently moved to Austin and continues to spread the vegan way of life leading by example as an accomplished vegan athlete.

Erica Meier is the executive director of Compassion Over Killing (COK), a non-profit animal advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C. Since 1995, COK has worked to end the abuse of animals in agriculture through undercover investigations, public outreach, litigation, and a variety of vegetarian advocacy programs. In addition to ending the egg industry’s use of the misleading “Animal Care Certified” logo, COK successfully persuaded BOCA Foods to stop using eggs and Quorn to launch its first-ever vegan product. COK also airs pro-vegetarian commercials nationwide on Animal Planet, MTV, and Comedy Central as well online on Hulu.com.
Before working at COK, Erica spent four years as an animal control officer in D.C., rescuing sick, injured, and homeless animals as well as enforcing animal protection laws.

|Michael Greger, M.D.
Dr. Greger has scoured the world’s scholarly literature on clinical nutrition and developed this brand-new talk of the latest in cutting-edge research. Focusing on studies published just over the last year in peer-reviewed scientific nutrition journals, Dr. Greger offers practical advice on how best to feed ourselves and our families to prevent, treat, and even reverse chronic disease in an engaging interactive quiz show format.
A founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Michael Greger, MD, is a physician, author, and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues. He has lectured at the Conference on World Affairs, testified before Congress, and was invited as an expert witness in the defense of Oprah Winfrey in the infamous “meat defamation” trial. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Agriculture and Tufts University School of Medicine. Currently Dr. Greger serves as the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at The Humane Society of the United States. Healthy Eating Specialist and Chef Dan Marek has been a staple at Whole Foods Market’s flagship store for three years, educating customers about healthier choices in every meal. His specialty is converting comfort recipes into Health Starts Here approved formulas embodying the program’s four pillars: whole foods, healthy fats, plant strong and nutrient dense.
Marek’s role at Whole Foods is to make an effort to change the Standard American Diet for the better by offering outreach right in the grocery store through store tours, recipes, lectures, and cooking demos. He also leads individual, customized tours and he can be found leading cooking classes in the Culinary Center, as well as hosting free in-store cooking demonstrations and affordable supper club events at both Austin stores.
