Each year Texas VegFest chooses a nonprofit to feature at our event, and several nonprofits to showcase in the community outreach area. Our team also selects nonprofits for our monthly volunteer workdays!
Featured Nonprofit
The selected Featured Nonprofit receives a free 10x10 booth in our prime exhibitor location at Texas VegFest. The nonprofit receives the same benefits as our sponsors, and could receive a monetary prize after the festival. The goal of the Featured Nonprofit is to showcase smaller, newly formed nonprofits who are doing work benefiting Texan's health, the environment, or animals, and provide them with a large audience to share their mission.
Community Outreach
Nonprofits selected for the Community Outreach receive an 8' table under our covered nonprofit pavilion area for free. Selected organizations participate in the Community Outreach area with the goal of engaging and with attendees to increase community awareness, provide educational information, encouraging community participation through volunteering, and networking with as many individuals as possible.
Monthly Workdays
Nonprofits selected for the volunteer workdays will have our dedicated volunteer team work the second Saturday of the month between 9am and 1pm. We'll rotate between a different nonprofit each month. Our team provides experienced volunteer assistance for routine maintenance or special projects!
