To help us celebrate the end of the year, our team is launching the very first Texas VegFest Fundraiser!

We’re excited to share the Texas VegFest Chili Cook-Off & Market as this year’s event. 
Our goals for the fundraiser are to help cover our 2026 event expenses, and to make sure Texas VegFest remains free to the public for another 10 years. 
Help us meet our fundraising goal by donating to our fundraiser, entering the Chili-Cook-Off, participating as a sponsor or vendor, volunteering, or by being a chili taster!

We have a variety of participation opportunities available for vendors, volunteers, musicians, workshops, activities, swag inserts, raffles, and more.

Space is limited, so sign-up early to secure your space. Sign-up form for Participants and Volunteers are open now through November 20th.

Cook-Off Details

 

We’re in search of the best vegan chili in Texas!

Opportunities available for Chili Cook-Off Contestants, Food & Commercial Vendors, Nonprofits, and Small Businesses. workshops, and activities.  

Limited vendor space available while prioritizing Chili Cook-Off Contestants.

PARTICIPATE

 

Chili Cook-Off Contestants will be judged by a panel of judges, and by a tally of the tasting tickets.

Attendees who donate to our fundraising event will receive a tasting ticket that secures a chili sample from each contestant in the cook-off.  

Winner announcements and prizes between 3pm and 4pm, Sunday December 7th.

Market Details

 

Our fundraiser event also includes a market where attendees can peruse and purchase local goods, services, and treats. Just perfect for the end of year gifting season! 

Entrance to the market is FREE to help encourage donations to the Texas VegFest Fundraiser Event and purchases at the vendor booths.

Our Texas VegFest 2026 Planning Season has begun!

We a currently accepting a variety of participants for Texas VegFest in April 2026 at Fiesta Gardens in Austin, TX.

Special discount pricing is available to those participating at the Texas VegFest Fundraiser and in Texas 2026, as well as those who participated at one of the Vegan Coalition events.

Fundraising Purpose & Goal
Texas VegFest is a free public education event at Fiesta Gardens that occurs each April in Austin, Texas.
Our expenses average around $50,000 annually. 
Expenses include venue cost, permits, tents, tables, chairs, printing, advertising, administrative, logistics, activities, and more.
 
We use participation sign-up fees, swag bags, and public donations to help cover expenses. 
To ensure our 2026 expenses are covered, and to make sure Texas VegFest continues to be a FREE public education event for another 10 years, we are hosting a Fundraiser Event.
Our fundraising goal is $10,000. Help us surpass this goal by donating, participating, volunteering, sharing, or vending at our fundraiser!
